Partner Patrick J. McIntyre serves as outside legal counsel advising closely-held businesses from startups to third generation industry leading companies on myriad corporate matters. Patrick applies his extensive experience in a broad range of practice areas, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, corporate governance, employment, real estate, environmental, finance and operations. He works closely with entrepreneurs, business owners, and investors to design and implement corporate strategy for long term, sustainable growth.  Prior to receiving his law degree from Cleveland State University College of Law, Patrick worked for several years with Marriott hotels in operations management with bottom line P & L responsibility. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and Florida, the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Ohio, the Northern District of Indiana, and the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, as well as the United States Supreme Court. Patrick is a member of Weston Hurd’s Management Committee and is a frequent lecturer and panel moderator to industry, legal and accounting groups on a variety of corporate topics. He recently spoke as part of a panel discussion on the topic of “Creating, Teaching, Mentoring and Managing a Communication Culture” at the American Bar Association’s National Legal Malpractice Conference in September 2022.
