Ronald A. Rispo concentrates his practice on insurance law, general negligence, medical malpractice, product liability, zoning and subdivision regulation, real estate law, and the defense of directors’ and officers’ liability claims. He has been the recipient of the Distinguished Service Awards from the Cleveland Association of Civil Trial Attorneys (1986 and 1996) and the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys (1996). He is a Past President of the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, and was instrumental in the drafting and passage of Ohio’s Tort Reform Legislation in 1987 and 1996. Ron’s trial experience includes approximately 50 civil jury trials in all areas. Ron has also provided testimony as an expert in one legal malpractice matter and one bad faith matter. He served as the editor of the OACTA Newsletter and has written for the OACTA Journal.
Ron is an AV® Preeminent rated attorney by Martindale Hubbell. He has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America® for more than 15 years (2005-2021), and since 2007 Ron has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters.
