Attorney Adelia Mohan joined Weston Hurd in January 2022. Adelia represents her clients in all facets of insurance related actions, including first and third party claims, employer intentional torts, personal injury, and commercial litigation.

Adelia received her B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and obtained her J.D. from Capital University Law School. Her court admissions include Ohio, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Within the legal community, Adelia is a member of the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys and serves as Chair of OACTA’s Communications Committee and Co- Chair of OACTA’s Inclusion and Equity Committee, as well as Co-Chair of Weston Hurd’s own Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. She is also a member of the Columbus Bar Association and a speaker for the Ohio Fair Courts Alliance. In 2021, Adelia received OACTA’s Outstanding Young Lawyer Award; in 2022, she was recognized with the Frank Seth Hurd Member of the Year, and since 2022, Adelia has been named an Ohio Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business. In 2024, Adelia was selected to serve a three-year term on the Capital University Law School Alumni Association Board. She is also the Legal Director for the North Hilltop Neighborhood Association.
