

Jennifer brings more than two decades of experience to Weston Hurd’s Labor and Employment Group. Her practice focuses on workers’ compensation and occupational safety and health, defending both state-funded and self-insured employers before the Ohio Industrial Commission and in Ohio’s courts. Jennifer’s practice also includes litigation and tort actions representing large and small clients. She has represented clients in the health care, manufacturing, hospitality, construction, trucking and automotive industries as well as school districts and municipalities throughout all phases of the administrative process and all court levels.
Jennifer has been named a Best Lawyer in America© since 2024 for Commercial Litigation and in 2026, she is recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer in Workers’ Compensation.

COMPENSATION
▪ Counsels clients on day-to-day workers’ compensation matters including the implementation of safety policies and programs and return-to-work issues. ▪ Representation of clients throughout all phases of workers’ compensation administrative hearings including complex allowances, permanent total disability, loss of use and death claims. VSSR
▪ Represented clients before the Full Commission and in mandamus proceedings. Represents employers against independent contractors seeking status as employees. Represents clients as to non-compliance status bringing employers into compliance. ▪ Performs due diligence for mergers and acquisitions as to workers’ compensation matters.
