Scott J. Orille joined Weston Hurd in January 2017 along with other members of the law firm of Kahn Kruse Co., LPA. Scott represents clients in a variety of commercial, corporate, real estate, securities, and employment matters, including complex litigation, commercial and real estate transactions, and corporate structuring.  Scott represents a broad array of clients including businesses in regulated industries including pharmacies and pharmacy owners, liquor permit holders, medical marijuana licensees, and secured creditors to the medical marijuana industry.  Scott also represents franchisees in the acquisition, operation, and sale of franchises; parties to commercial real estate and leasing transactions, business owners in shareholder disputes and lender liability disputes, and investors in FINRA proceedings.  Scott received his B.S. in 1993 from Eastern New Mexico University and his J.D. in 1997 from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He is a member of the Bankruptcy and Litigation Sections of the Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar associations. Scott is admitted to practice in Ohio as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Scott has been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer- Rising Star in Business Litigation by Thomson Reuters.  For many years Scott served as the Chairman of the Avon Lake Civil Service Commission and is currently a member of the City of Avon Lake Planning Commission.
